  • Planning and Zoning Commission. 

    Public hearings are scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Agendas & Staff Reports will be available on the Friday prior to each scheduled hearing.
  • City Council.

      Public hearings are generally scheduled for the first and third Monday of each month. Agendas & Staff Reports will be available on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting.
  • Building and Site Design Standards Committee. 

     Public meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of each month. Refer to the Design Review Requirements page for more information on building and site design standards.

Time Frame

Hearing Notices, Agendas, Staff Reports & Minutes

Public hearing notices are published in the Idaho Press-Tribune 15 days prior to hearings. Agendas and Staff Reports are made available the Friday before each scheduled meeting. Public Hearing Procedures

The City of Nampa has adopted Hearing Procedures for the conduct of public hearings. These procedures provide an opportunity for all affected persons to present and rebut evidence, and provide the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council guidance on: 1) Submission of evidence, 2) Ex parte communications and conflicts of interest, 3) Call to order, 4) Hearing item speaking times, 5) Appeal hearing speaking times, 6) Hearing protocol, and 5) Other hearing rules of conduct.

Requests for Reconsideration

On any application brought before the City Council affecting the use, occupancy or development of real property, including, but not limited to, those matters governed by the Idaho local land use planning act, found at Idaho Code 67-6501 et seq., or the Nampa comprehensive zoning ordinance, a party may request that the City Council reconsider a decision pursuant to the criteria and procedures of Section 10-2-10: Requests for Reconsideration.
